Shannon Nasution is a filmmaker based in Norwalk, CT. Nasution started her film journey as a Digital Media & Design student with a concentration in Film Production at the University of Connecticut in Stamford, CT.

 

At 10 years old, she was always invested in filmmaking, starting with an iPad as her video camera and a notebook as her screenwriting tool.

 

Nasution feels very proud and lucky to have the chance to put herself out there as a filmmaker, storyteller, and artist. During her college years, she worked on narratives, documentaries, and commercials. Nasution has made two directorial debuts on a music documentary and a short narrative film in 2022, and continues to do more from there.
